If you have been to Arctic Watch (a remote wilderness lodge in Canada's High Arctic) then Polar Bear Point may be familiar with you. as you leave Cummingham Inlet and start to approach the North West Passage, you never quite know what awaits you, with regards to wild and weather. Sometime its sunny and belugas are swimming by, but Mark favourite days are when the weather in rolling in through the North West Passage, one can only image the explorers that were here before us in their wooden ships. This day was one Mark will not forget in a hurry, the moody skies and rolling in from the passage, making low visibility. Not long before this shot, we could only see a few hundred meters, then as the wind shifted and the air temperature dropped a few degrees, the visibility opened up and just in time for us to see this curious polar bear walking up the hill.
